Colleen Bradley
Colleen Bradley
is the President of Planned Giving Solutions Inc. She began her
career in the field of financial services specializing in the area of estate and
investment planning. While employed at Royal Trust, she completed the Canadian Securities
Course and obtained her brokers license. She guided her clients through the estate
planning process and offered investment advice that helped them achieve their financial
goals. As well, she received education as a trainer and led in-house workshops,
seminars and training to all levels including senior management.
In 1989, Colleen began working in the nonprofit sector. As one of the pioneers in
Planned Giving, Colleen was employed at the Heart & Stroke Foundation and doubled
their planned giving annual revenue over a period of five years at a time when planned
giving was in its infancy. In the mid 1990’s, while employed at Easter Seals, the
organization received over $300,000 in "today" gifts of securities and annual bequest
revenue generated over 3 million dollars.
In 1998, Colleen wished to make a larger impact in the not-for profit sector and
chose to open a consulting firm. She recognized that the vital revenue that planned
giving provides was also essential to the success of small and mid-size organizations.
Her goal is to bring big fundraising ideas to small and medium sized not-for-profits
and help point them to a future where planned gifts are a source of revenue. Working
with organizations at the local, provincial, national and international levels,
her focus has been in the development of cost-effective and results-oriented planned
giving programs.
Over the years, Colleen has helped raise over 45 million dollars in planned giving
realized revenue. It is from this experience that the Essential Solutions Toolkit©
was created.
Colleen is a member of the Canadian Association for Gift Planners - CAGP-ACPDP.
She served for six years on the Toronto RoundTable Executive and is a Past Chair.
She was also a member of the CAGP-ACPDP National Conference Organizing Committee.
She has taught her methodology at Ryerson University of Toronto, Georgian College
(Barrie), and at CAGP Conferences.
